Sensory Bin and Beginning of Tashlich
September 17, 2015

Today's sensory play involved dry rice. The sensory bin was filled with rice, cups and plates. The children learned the rules of the sensory bin: we don't carry the rice around the room, we share containers, and we clean up.

We also made a body of water using water colors and thick paint brushes to define motor skills. The context of the water relates to our Yom Kippur study of Tashlich. We will continue this theme next week. Our discussions will relate to thoughtful behaviors for Yom Kippur.
