Meirav Finley is Co-Founder of Ohr HaTorah congregation, and serves as Executive and Educational Director. Born and raised in Eilat, Israel, she served in the Israeli Air Force before studying English Literature at the Hebrew University and Linguistics at Tel Aviv University. After moving to L.A. in 1984, Meirav worked as a Hebrew language teacher for children and adults in various private schools in Los Angeles prior to founding the Ohr HaTorah Synagogue in 1993. Meirav received her Early Childhood certification as a Teacher and Director from UCLA.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Stephanie began working at Ohr HaTorah part-time during high school. When she left to attend college at the University of California, Riverside, she continued to work during the summers to help prepare for the holidays and religious school. After Stephanie received her B.A. in Psychology from UCR she joined the staff full time as the Religious School Administrator. With her ultimate goal and desire to work with children. When Kinder Circle Preschool launched, Stephanie was ready to become the administrator. She has always enjoyed being around children and you can even find her stealing away from work to play with the kids in the garden from time to time.
Galit Ben David Aloni
Galit has been working in preschool education for over 10 years, and has worked in both general and special education settings. Her journey in education started at 17, when she volunteered for a year of national service in Israel to work with adolescents with autism. After completing her two year service in the Israeli army, Galit completed a degree in education at the David Yellin College of Education in Jerusalem, graduating with honors. Galit moved to the United States two years ago, and is a mother of two, whom also attend Kinder Circle.
Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Sharon is a teacher with 26 years of educational enrichment and experience. She received her Senior Kindergarten Degree from Levinski College of Education and her General Education Degree from Seminar Hakibbutzim College of Education. These degrees are both equivalent to a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. Her passion for art led her to study at the Avni Institute of Art and Design for a year. She moved to Los Angeles in 1999 and worked in both preschools and day schools as a Hebrew and Art Teacher. Her objectives are to reach each child’s individual needs and educational abilities by creating new and interesting ways for them to learn.
Born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel, Nurit brings abundant love and a great passion for early childhood education. With over thirty years of firsthand experience with the Hebrew language, Jewish and Israeli culture, Nurit is a core contributor to the Kinder Circle program.
